ABOUT THE OWNER

Mary Ellen Perretta was one of the very first retailers to join The Collective when it opened, and she has been a proud supporter of Columbia’s small business community ever since. She owns Grit and Grace Children’s Boutique, a thoughtfully curated shop offering baby gifts, children’s books, toys, and must-have items for little ones. Whether you’re searching for the perfect baby shower gift or a new favorite book for storytime, Mary Ellen’s shop offers something special for every family.

A Columbia local, Mary Ellen lives in the area with her husband and their three boys. Her passion for creating meaningful shopping experiences, combined with her deep love for family and community, shines through in every corner of Grit and Grace. She’s dedicated to helping families find gifts and treasures that feel as thoughtful as they are beautiful.
